Data Retention Policy

1. Overview
We keep your data only for as long as we need it to provide the service, and delete what is no longer needed automatically. The tables below give the retention period for each kind of data.
2. Bank statements (PDF)

Uploaded PDFs are held in encrypted file storage and deleted automatically once the retention period above has passed. No bank statement PDF is kept permanently — there is no path through the product that retains your file indefinitely.
3. Tax exports and income documents

Tax export files are ones you generate yourself. Income documents are ones you upload. Both stay until you delete them — nothing removes them on a schedule — and you can delete any of them at any time from your account.
4. Transaction and account data

5. Deleting your account and all of your data
You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it from your account settings. Once you do, all associated data is deleted within 30 days, except records we are required by law to keep.
